JCI

Joint Commission International (JCI) is judged as the golden standard among all the available health-care accreditation programs and is accepted as a global leader for health care quality and patient safety. This is a US centred non-profit organization that accredits health care organizations and programs around the globe. Achieving this accreditation has a great influence on the performance and image of your organization.

In order to qualify to apply, the applicant hospital requires to be fully operational, admitting and discharging a volume of patients that will permit the complete evaluation of the implementation and sustained compliance with all current JCI accreditation standards for hospitals. The hospital must comply with the current “Accreditation Participation Requirements” (APRs) and willing to assume the responsibility for improving the quality of its care and services.

The validity of accreditation is 3 years.
